Published on 2026-10-25

On October 27th, LIFE VitiCaSe will take part in “Il suolo sotto le stelle” (“Soil Under the Stars”), an event organised by CREA – Research Centre for Agriculture and Environment to promote dialogue and knowledge sharing on sustainable soil management and protection.

Organised with the involvement of researchers from the SOILHUB2 project, the initiative will bring together the scientific community, institutions, associations and citizens to explore the essential role of soil in environmental protection, agriculture and the fight against climate change.

For the occasion, CREA’s garden will host a series of thematic stations, where researchers and experts will present key topics related to soil health and conservation through posters and interactive discussions. These will include sustainable soil management, organic carbon, biodiversity and policies aimed at protecting this vital resource.

The event aims to bring scientific knowledge closer to the public, encouraging the exchange of experiences and ideas in an open and engaging setting. It will offer an opportunity to better understand how agricultural practices and land management decisions can contribute to soil conservation.

LIFE VitiCaSe will also be present with its own thematic station, showcasing the activities carried out and the progress achieved by the project. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about carbon farming practices in viticulture and discuss the potential benefits of sustainable approaches for vineyard soils.
