On February 27, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Santa Chiara Lab in Siena will host the event "Cultivating the Future of the Vineyard: Regenerative Viticulture, Carbon Credits, and Opportunities for Businesses – LIFE VitiCaSe," organized by project partner UPA Siena in collaboration with the lead partner, Image Line.
The initiative is part of the LIFE VitiCaSe project's replication plan, aiming to promote the dissemination of regenerative viticulture practices, monitoring systems, and mechanisms for generating carbon credits in the winemaking sector.
During the event, firsthand accounts from the wineries involved in the project will be presented, offering concrete examples of the implementation of the practices tested in the pilot vineyards. Ample space will also be dedicated to presenting the project's results and, above all, to the ways in which wineries can benefit from the framework, protocols, and tools developed by LIFE VitiCaSe, participating in the adoption and replication process.
The conference also represents an important opportunity for information and exchange for the regional AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System), contributing to the dialogue between agricultural businesses, research, technical consultancy, production assistance, and digital innovation. In this sense, the event is designed as a space for discussion and debate, also open to schools and training, fostering the circulation of knowledge and the transfer of innovation throughout the agricultural supply chain.
The meeting will conclude with a discussion with the public, gathering questions, experiences, and needs of businesses and industry professionals, strengthening the link between applied research, field practices, and agricultural support systems.

The event will also be livestreamed on Confagricoltura Siena's channels.
